Main Beach Park is the beachfront park located right in the heart of Laguna Beach in the Village Area near downtown. Main Beach Park is a wide beach with more sandy area than many of the smaller beach coves of Laguna Beach. There are volleyball courts and a lifeguard stand on the sand. Main Beach Park has basketball courts, a boardwalk, a playground, large grassy areas, picnic tables, benches, showers, and restrooms. There are tidepools at the north end of Main Beach. Main Beach Park is just south of Rockpile Beach and Heisler Park and just north of Sleepy Hollow Beach. There is metered street parking along Coast Highway.
