The 59th Annual Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach is scheduled from June 27 to August 31, 2025, operating daily from 11:00 AM.
This year’s festival will showcase the creations of 180 local Laguna Beach artists, offering a diverse array of media including ceramics, painting, jewelry, glass, and photography. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment across three stages, participate in complimentary art classes, and observe art demonstrations such as glassblowing. The festival also provides a variety of outdoor dining options, including Evan’s Gourmet, Taco Loco by Chef Gonzalo Rebollar, Espresso on the Go, and Fran’s Popcorn.

Laguna Beach Festival of Arts

The Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach is a premier juried art show featuring original works by 140 of Orange County’s finest artists. Scheduled from July 2 to August 29, 2025, the festival offers attendees the opportunity to browse and purchase unique artworks, including jewelry, ceramics, photography, and paintings. Beyond the art exhibits, visitors can enjoy art workshops, guided tours, live musical performances, and hands-on demonstrations. Special events such as jazz concerts, wine and chocolate pairings, art discussions, cooking demonstrations, and children’s activities ensure entertainment for all ages. The festival operates Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Coinciding with the festival is the renowned Pageant of the Masters, running from July 5 to August 29, 2025. This unique production brings art to life through “living pictures,” where real people recreate classical and contemporary artworks on stage.

Huntington Beach’s 4th of July celebrations are packed with fun, including the famous parade, Surf City Run, fireworks over the ocean, and a lively block party. The festivities kick off with the Surf City 5K and Kids Fun Run on the morning of July 4th, followed by the iconic 4th of July Parade at 10 a.m., starting at Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway and heading north to Yorktown—drawing over 250,000 spectators and featuring 200+ participating groups, it’s known as the largest Independence Day parade west of the Mississippi. At 9 p.m., a spectacular fireworks show lights up the sky over the Huntington Beach Pier, viewable for free from the beach or downtown. The celebration continues July 5th with a Main Street Block Party featuring live music and entertainment.

The 2025 OC Fair is back from July 18 to August 17 with the theme “Find Your Happy,” offering live entertainment, exhibits, delicious food, carnival rides, shopping, and more at the OC Fair & Event Center. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. General admission is $13 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, $15 on Fridays through Sundays, and just $9 for seniors 60+ and kids ages 6–12 every day. Children 5 and under get in free. Parking is $15 for cars and motorcycles, and $30 for buses and limos.

- This drive-thru event for residents only and offers a limited amount of pre-bagged STA certified compost on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Eligibility: Open to Laguna Beach residents only; proof of residency is required.
- Limit: 5 bags per household (approximately 25 pounds each).

Important Reminder: Items for shredding must be placed in the trunk or rear compartment. Pedestrian traffic/drop-offs are not allowed
The City and CR&R also offer two yearly drive-thru document shredding events.
Eligibility: Open to Laguna Beach residents and businesses; proof of residency or business license number is required.

Las Damas is a volunteer woman’s non-profit organization that promotes the arts, philanthropy and education. Las Damas contributes 100% of the profits from the Sunset Beach Art Festival to support the arts programs in our local public schools, local non-profit organizations and to continuing education grants for local residents.
