The community of Emerald Bay Laguna Beach is in north end of Laguna Beach, California. It is a guard-gated community with 24-hour patrolling. There are homes on both the ocean and the bluff side of Coast Hwy. There is a tunnel running underneath the highway to connect both sides of the neighborhood.
There are approximately 500 homes in Emerald Bay. The prices can range from around 3 million to 65 million.
Emerald Bay offers some of the most sought-after oceanfront and ocean view properties on the West Coast.
Many times, you will see yachts, from everywhere, anchored in Emerald Bay.
Emerald Bay is a private beach, whereas, the only access to non-residents is via the ocean. This community provides lifeguards during the summer months. There are beach volleyball nets, a tennis court, a park, and an oceanfront playground. Emerald Bay also has a large parking lot near the beach.
Emerald Bay also has Swanson Park which has 5 lighted tennis courts, the Tripp playground, a basketball court, and a walking path. The path leads the residents to the Victor C Andrews Community Center. This community center includes a tennis pro shop and also a clubhouse. A little further down the path, is where they can find Al Simmons Swim Center and their 25-meter lap pool.
Emerald Bay sits between the Smithcliffs and the Irvine Cove neighborhoods, with Laguna Coast Wilderness Park just to the east.
Emerald Bay is zoned for Laguna Beach Unified School District. The schools are currently El Morro Elementary, Thurston Middle, and Laguna Beach High. Please check with school district for up-to-date accuracy.
